We stayed at the 800 year old Bayards Cove Inn. Bayard Cove is where the Mayflower finally set sail to America from in 1620. She accompanied her sister ship when she had to dock in Dartmouth for repairs.
Late in the day the afternoon sun lit up Kingswear on the other side of the river Dart.
